Meet Our Team
John Catarino (Owner)
John enlisted in the United States Navy in 1969. He did three Tours in Vietnam, and was Honorably Discharged in 1973. He then was hired by American Mutual Insurance Company and spent 14 years as an Insurance Agent selling all lines of insurance. John made the All-American Club 14 years in a row for making all of his insurance sales goals. He left American in 1987 and opened his own insurance agency (the AJC Insurance Agency) with three partners. In 1998, he left to start Catarino-Casale Insurance Associates, which he still owns and operates today. John resides in Rocky Hill with his wife and dog, Sailor. In his free time, you will find him on the golf course.
Katie Casale Tabak (Office Manager)
Katie joined the agency in 2002 after graduating from Central Connecticut State University. She began as a CSR, then became an agent and is now our office manager. Specializing in auto and home policies, she has been integral in the growth and development of the agency. Katie lives in Cromwell with her husband and their two children. In her free time, you will find her reading, at the beach, and traveling.
Amanda Chiulli (Customer Service Representative)
Amanda joined the agency in 2017. Born and raised in Rocky Hill, she is an experienced receptionist in charge of the daily operations of the office. A positive attitude and relentless work ethic ensures that our insurance clients are well taken care of and happy with our service. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and meeting new people.
